I admit I have not always been fond of coffee. Growing up I hated the smell of regular hot coffee (and I kind of still do). As I got older more mature my taste buds changed on me a bit and I now I can drink multiple cups of coffee a day but not hot coffee (unless loaded with creamer). I gave iced coffees a try and fell in love. I tried the "bucks" brand bottled iced coffee, it was decent but not something I wanted to buy weekly because I had to have it. Then out came Mickey D's with their Mocha drinks. Mochas then became my coffee drink of choice.
I have been a fan of International Delight coffee creamer since I started drinking coffee a couple years ago. Daddy B picks with me that I can use half a bottle of creamer in my coffee. I like the perk I get from hot coffee but not the taste of it so I load it up with flavors that I enjoy so yeah I would use a lot of creamer. Then in December my coffee drinking got serious. I was introduced to the International Delight Iced Coffees. I knew I enjoyed the wonderful flavors of the International Delight creamers so I just knew I wanted to give the Iced Coffee a go. I received 3 half gallon sized cartons of the International Delight Iced Coffee in Original, Vanilla and Mocha. The iced coffees are all ready cold so all you need to do is shake, pour and enjoy. I tried the coffees with and without ice and prefer them with crushed ice. International Delight wanted us to have the "coffeehouse quality right at home" as stated on the iced coffee cartons. If I could get my Mocha fix daily without having to hit the drive thru daily I would be sold.
Wanting to get a variety of opinions I generously shared my International Delight Iced Coffees with my Mom and cousins. Of course I finished off the Mocha before even getting photos of it so they couldn't try that one but I did share the Vanilla and Original with them. So how did the iced coffees go over with all of us? 4 out of 5 of us enjoyed the International Delight Iced Coffees. Surprisingly my Mom was the one who didn't care for it. She prefers her coffee hot and only a bit sweet. My cousins and I loved them though. Mocha being my favorite, then Vanilla and Original would be my 3rd favorite. They were bummed though when the carton were empty and I told them that the International Delight iced coffee would not be out in Walmart stores (dairy section) until January 15, 2012. They had to wait a couple weeks to get more. Now I am all out and awaiting January 15th myself so I can continue to get my Mocha fix thanks to International Delight and their new sweet & creamy iced coffee coffeehouse drinks. I know most of the Mama Bee Does readers are Moms and I was wondering how many of y'all are coffee drinkers? Do you prefer hot coffee or iced coffee? Will you be on the look out for the International Delight Iced Coffee in your local Walmart on the 15th?
