We had the opportunity back at Easter to share Easter HEXBUGS with others. Then this past weekend we had the opportunity to spread even more HEXBUG Halloween fun.
We were sent the HexBug Nano Elevation 3D Glow-in-the-Dark Habitat Set and 2 other (glow in the dark) habitats, lots of test tubes of Nano HEXBUGS (glow in the dark), some Hexbug Larva (the kids loved that these are motion sensored and would turn to avoid running into things) and some coffins filled with HexBug Nano Halloween Mutant Zombies. While we had all the kiddos together this weekend we set up the habitats and set the HEXBUGS loose in the house. Who lets bugs run around in their house? We do, when they're HEXBUGS.
We had children, boys and girls, in ages from 3 to 8 and every one of them plus some adults had fun playing with the Halloween HEXBUG party kit. Once we had laughs watching the kids (and some adults) play with the sets I divided the sets up among the kids and let each one take party of the kit home. My boys kept some Nano HEXBUGS but the habitats and all the other HEXBUGS and Larvae went to separate, very happy new homes. The kids kept saying, " Thank you Shaney. Thank you Shaney." It was pretty obvious that they were amused and entertained with the HEXBUGS. I was glad to see that we had a box of replacement batteries since the HEXBUGS we had at Easter a couple had dead batteries after only a few minutes of play so this time we were prepared and didnt need the extra batteries yet but we're ready when we do.
My 2 boys are now asking for a HEXBUG Spider and HexBug Crab for Christmas. Have your children asked for any HEXBUGS yet? Would the HEXBUGS be something you wouldn't mind buying your kids?
And here is the cake I made for my aunt's Halloween/ 50th birthday party this weekend too. She requested something scary movie Halloween so that's what I tried to give her. I made the cake, the buttercream icing and the marshmallow fondant and it was 100% edible if they had the "stomach" for it...
