Though we are only required to share results by the month over the next 6 months, I wanted to bring y'all along the journey even more so this post is only one of my weekly weigh ins. No measurements, just what the scale has to say. I may try and share measurements every couple weeks though since this is a inch loss program. When I started the Shaklee program one week ago I weighed in at 197.8. After one week I am down to 194.8, exactly 3 lbs!
Don't you just love my flip flop tan lines? Haha!
I have increased the amount of water I was drinking. I cut down on sweets and I am more mindful of my portion sizes. I have not been more active than before I started Cinch so once I start an exercise routine up I'm hoping to melt off even more of this extra weight. I shared before that I am was an emotional eater. I am happy to say that the past week has had its moments where I wanted to dive in to the ice cream bucket or donuts but instead of emotional eating I did something else... I cleaned. So I guess now I am an emotional cleaner. At least that way the house will be better looking and I'm moving around more than sitting and eating my sorrows away.
The Cinch meal in a bars are surprisingly filling and have a great taste and the shakes are good too. I was afraid they would be gritty or chalky. They are good on their own (especially the Cafe Latte flavor) but they can are even better with some fruit or soy butter add ins for a breakfast meal. The chocolate snack bars are really really chocolatey. The Lemon Cranberry snack bars are my least favorite of the bunch. I like lemon but not a fan of cranberry but the lemon flavor is so strong I couldn't even taste the cranberry at all. It was so overpowering I couldn't enjoy it but I ate it anyways because I had opened it and I do NOT like to throw food away 😉
What does my meal plan consist of? I have a shake or meal bar for breakfast, a snack bar and some ff cottage cheese or yogurt with fruit, then lunch is a meal bar or shake, then another snack bar and fruit then a healthy, well balanced dinner. For my height and weight I am in the 1500 calories a day range for weight loss and I usually have 400-500 calories left by dinner and since we eat dinner at 4:30-5:00 I save some calories for a snack later on in the evening too.
I take my 3 in 1 supplement boost with each meal and I some times drink the Cinch energy tea but I'm not a big fan of the tea. It has a bit of a smokey? taste for me for some reason? It's not horrible but it's not my McDonald's sweet tea either 😉
Now that I have the Shaklee meal plan down to a T I need to start adding in some exercise. What are some good ways to be active and get exercise at home? What do you do for exercise?
