It has been an interesting month for me to say the least. When starting on my new journey with the Shaklee Cinch inch loss program I had no clue that I would be spending most of my first month traveling to and from a hospital to be with my parents because my step dad was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. While I found myself eating at the hospital cafe most of the time because I didn't have my Cinch products at the time I was not making even good choices with the foods I was eating. I would have cheese steak subs, mozzarella sticks, cheese fries, pizza and all kinds of junk. I was sad and returned to my emotional eating.
Once I was back home I found myself making excuses and more bad food choices. Then came my 28th birthday. It was not one of my greatest days that's for sure but with a visit from my Mom and the encouraging words from my fellow Cinch bloggers I had a good ending to a not so good day. Even if it is a competition between us Cinch bloggers we are still there for support for one another. After much thought and some hard life decisions I now know that I have to be better at making decisions for myself and I can't let my feelings take control of what foods I eat. I think I said it best on twitter the other day:
So how did my 1st month using the Shaklee Cinch program go? I am enjoying the meal bars and the shakes. There are so, so many options when it comes to mixing up the shakes. They are good on their own but the add ins like fruits make them even better (at least for me they are).
(right) arm: -½ in.

I have lost 6 lbs and 6 inches total in a month of bad choices and little exercise. I don't look any different from the photos taken on June 19th but I feel different. You can read my Team Cinchspiration posts to follow along on the entire journey with me. I'm motivated and ready to take on my second month head on. Now it's time for me to go make my fat cry 😉 Along with our monthly posts we are to do monthly videos to share our journey so here I am with my 1st month vlog...
