Where is Spring? Thankfully my skin has winter reinforcements with Carmex

I only recommend products I use myself and all opinions expressed here are our own. This post may contain affiliate links that at no additional cost to you, I may earn a small commission.

spring snow winter dry skin Carmex lotion cream

This was my side yard on March 25, 2013. The first week of Spring and we get 30 degrees and 4 inches of snow. Mother Nature has really been pms'ing this year with these weather mood swings. Last week one day was 70+ degrees outside then the next is was windy and back down to the 30's. This wacky weather has taken a toll on my skin. I all ready have to deal with eczema and the extra cold and windy weather makes it even worse. I've shared my thoughts on the Carmex everyday lip conditioner and now I I am sharing about the Carmex everyday hydrating lotion and Carmex everyday healing cream.

Carmex skincare lotion cream review giveaway

These Carmex products are not new but the packaging is a little different and more appealing I think. I have been using the Carmex healing cream more than the lotion. It's thicker and helps calm my eczema symptoms (really, really dry, itchy, blistering skin spots) on my arms and hands I also use the healing cream from Carmex on my feet. I'm barefoot and in fuzzy socks most days and with the lack of moisture in the air around here my skin on my feet looks like I walk around on sandpaper all day. I can tell when I skip my skin treatments of cream and lotion. I feel like a lizard. When I use the Carmex cream and lotion my skin feels much smoother, softer and less cracked and dry. I'm not clawing at my arms with my fingernails or rubbing my arm against the side of my jeans trying to ease my eczema itches. Having used many medications for eczema I am glad that both the Carmex lotion and cream are non greasy and fast absorbing. I think that once actual Spring type weather comes along I will use the lotion more than the cream on my hands and arms but will continue to use just the cream on my feet. I'll be baring my tootsies in flip flops, sandals and wedges once it warms up enough so I need my skin to look and feel as smooth as possible. Sure not everyone will be looking to see if I have dry, cracked, peeling skin on my feet but it matters to me.
