All the products distributed by Blue Ridge Gypsy Studio are designed and formulated by owner (and practicing pharmacist) Julie Hilton. The products created for Blue Ridge Gypsy Studio are formulated to be safe, effective in soothing your skin, and affordable. Both Skin Free products (from Blue Ridge Gypsy Studio) and the original Blue Ridge Gypsy line use only the finest natural oils and butters in their formulations. Blue Ridge Gypsy products are scented with pure, organic essential oils.

I've mentioned in previous posts that I have eczema on my hands and arms. Having eczema made it hard to find soaps that didn't irritate my sensitive skin. I have been using Skin Free skin care products for a while now. I started out with the After Shower moisturizing spritz and the Extra moisturizing bar soap. No irritation at all and they didn't dry my skin out. Then last May when I got to attend WeBlog! there was a Skin Free sample in our swag bag. I was excited to try another Skin Free product. They gave me a sample of the Super Moisture Body Balm. Then Blue Ridge Gypsy Studio allowed me to review the Niaouli Scrub (for blemish prone skin) and the Super Moisture Butter Creme.

I love my Skin Free products. I love them not only because they are made for delicate, sensitive or very dry skin (helpful for allergies, eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis) but I also love them because they are made with all natural ingredients. No extra fragrances, colorants, petroleum products or harmful chemicals. Another reason I like Skin Free and Blue Ridge Gypsy Studio? They are local to me (VA) so it's all USA distributed goods.

I use the Extra moisturizing bar soap for hand washing and showers. It can even be used as a conditioning shampoo (with no greasy after look). I can say all the ingredients in the soap and actually know what they are: coconut oil, palm oil, olive seed oil, shea butter, cocoa butter and vitamin E. Sometimes I miss getting to use all the smell good soaps but I know that most other soaps dry my hands out or burn when I use them. I'm happy with my Skin Free Extra Moisturizing soap. I'm clean without the itch and burn.

The Super Moisture Butter Creme is a lighter version of the original formula. It has the same properties as the Super Moisture Body Balm but in a saturating cream. You just smooth it on to your skin to relieve dry, irritated skin. The Butter Creme is also now safe to use for those that are allergic to soy. I have such dry skin year round that I hate showing my legs most of the summer. Thanks to the After Shower Moisture Spritz and the Super Moisture Butter Creme I have bared my legs with pride all summer long. They both leave my skin feeling nice and soft. The spritz even gives my legs and slight shine to them, which I think is nice to have on freshly shaven legs.

I was most excited to try the Niaouli Scrub, a face scrub made for acne prone skin. You can use it either daily or weekly. I'm in the middle as I use it a couple days a week. The Niaouli Scrub removes excess oil, dead skin cells and helps minimize your pores. You just rub a little on to damp skin to cleanse and then rinse off. The Niaouli essential oil is supposed to help prevent bacteria growth. I've noticed a significant decrease in my acne since I started using this scrub.

You can find all the products mentioned in this review at SkinFree.net. You can also shop for products at Blue Ridge Gypsy and you can add products from both sites to your cart and check out all at once. You can get the:

Super Moisture Butter Creme- $14.99

I got a container of Skin Free Super Body Moisturizer in Feb of 2020. I put it away, forgot about and just now started using it. I love it but can find it anymore. Did they get bought out? What can i use that is similar?
