I shared with y'all about the USO and Cheerios and their sendCheer campaign to send postcards to military families across the US. Cheerios and the USO have teamed up to make it easy to send military families a special cheer to thank them for their services and sacrifice and support the USO programs with the Cheerios sendCheer campaign. So how do we do this easy act of kindness and gratitude? There are specially marked boxes of Cheerios cereal that have “Cheer” postcards printed on the box that we can cut out. The postcards are pre-addressed to the USO so all we need to do is purchase the Cheerios cereal with the postcard printed on it. Then cut out the postcard, write our message on it, add postage and get it in the mail. The USO will distribute the postcards to military families for us.
In addition to showing the military families how thankful we are for what they do with the postcards we’ll be helping the USO too. For each postcard sent Cheerios will make a donation (up to $250,000) to the USO to help fund programs that help support military families.
I think the Cheerios Send Cheer program is such a wonderful thing. It may seem small but it can mean so much to let our military families know just how much we appreciate what all they do. I took part and sent Cheer to military families across the country. Will you give thanks and sendCheer of your own?
