Preschool Crafts with 1-2-3! Textured Projects Products @PreschoolProj Review

I only recommend products I use myself and all opinions expressed here are our own. This post may contain affiliate links that at no additional cost to you, I may earn a small commission.

Are you constantly on the look out for preschool crafts? Even if they don't care much for it I bet they would enjoy 1-2-3! Textured Products. The idea of the different textures with the 1-2-3! Textured Products craft kits are great for tactile stimulation (activated by touch) and the practice of hand eye coordination. 1-2-3 Textured Projects offers professionally designed early childhood education curriculum products that are hands on and include different textural materials, colors and craft ideas. We received a 1-2-3 Textured Products Craft Kit of Snuggles the Lamb from the Farm Animals collection.

With your craft kit you get the cardstock with the cardstock cutout attached, the 3 different textured materials and then all you need is some glue or what ever you want to use to let your child attach the materials to the card. Baby B has renamed Snuggles to Sheepy Sheep. Sheepy Sheep has been decorated with some yellow cotton fluff, multi-colored styrofoam wrapping bits and some white plastic pellets.

It only took Baby B about 15 minutes to complete his look of Sheepy Sheep. We added the glue together but I let him do the materials all on his own. I'm one of those Moms that doesn't care if their kids get a little messy. That's all part of being a kid. There were times where I could have said "here let Mommy do that" but what would he get from me doing it for him? I was surprised at how neat he had this. Maybe he's going to be artsy/crafty like his Mommy. I know Little B could care less how his crafts look, just as long as he gets it done is all that matters to him. But with Baby B he takes his time and gets it just how he wants it to look. Pretty darn good for a 3 and ½ year old.

I would love to have a collection of 1-2-3! Textured Products craft kits for rainy days (like today) or pretty much any day for Baby B. He gets so bottled up with energy sometimes that a quick craft gives him some busy finger/creative time without getting him in trouble. 1-2-3 Textured Products also offers sticker kits. I'm sure we could have some fun with those as well. You can purchase the sticker kits, craft kits and activity packs online at the 1-2-3! Textured Products store. The craft kits are only $1 each or $4.99 for a set. You can even sign up for a subscription to 1-2-3! textured Products and get a new kit each month for a year. To give 1-2-3! Textured Products a try you can request a free sample of your own. If you are on twitter you can follow them @Preschoolproj.

Sheepy Sheep now hangs on our refrigerator with all our other photos and art that have been deemed fridge hanging worthy.
