Moms Into Fitness 60 Day SlimDown Day 30 Weigh In

I'm half way through my 60 days all ready. This past week has been rough. With all day cake baking, traveling, sick kids and then being sick myself I made no time for exercise. Through these last 30 days I have learned that I needed to make time to take care of me since the guys are so dependent on me. If I'm not well enough to take care of me then I wont be able to take care of them either. I didn't get a single workout in and I feel craptastic. Yes the workouts are hard and some days I dont want to do them but I then remind myself that its gonna be hard but worth it in the end. Im not looking for a wuick fix it took me 18 months to put on the extra 70 and 75 lbs and Im not going to lose my last 25 lbs in just a few weeks. This aint your typical Biggest Loser weight loss results, this is normal life. I can't workout 6-8 hours a day and have my food paid for. I'm a wife, mom, sister, cousin, friend and blogger. I needed to find balance in all of that to help me be a happier person so that I don't fall back into not caring about me. I have to be first. That's been a hard pill for me to swallow but I'm not giving up and I WILL start back to my exercise plan tomorrow!

All that being said here are my weigh and measure results for the last 30 days...

    Day 1:
    dominate arm- 12 ½ in.
    chest- 42 in.
    neck- 14 in.
    natural waistline- 34 ½ in.
    1″ below navel- 39 in.
    hips- 43 in.
    dominate leg- 24 in.
    dominate calf- 15 in.
    Starting weight- 181.8

    Day 10:
    Arm- 12 ½ in.
    chest- 42 in.
    neck- 14 in.
    waist- 34 ½ in.
    navel- 38 in. (-1 in.)
    hips- 43 in.
    leg- 24 in.
    calf- 15 in.
    weight- 179.4 (-2.4 lbs)

    Day 20:
    Arm- 12 in. (- ½ in.)
    Chest- 41 in. (-1 in.)
    Neck- 13 in. (-1 in.)
    Waist- 34 in. (-½ in.)
    Navel- 38 in.
    Hips- 43 in.
    Leg- 24 in.
    Calf- 15 in.
    Weight- 179.4

    Day 30:
    dominate arm- 12 in.
    chest- 40 ½ in. (-½ in)
    neck- 13 in.
natural waistline- 33 in. (-1 in)
    1″ below navel- 37 in. (-1 in)
    hips- 43 in.
dominate leg- 23 in. (-1 in)
    dominate calf- 15 in.
    Starting weight- 177.8 (-1.6 lb)

I lost 3 & ½ inches and 1.6 lb this week even with no exercise. That goes to show that nutrition is just as important as exercise. I dont think you can have 1 without the other. In 30 days I have lost 7 & ½ inches and 4 lbs. I've got a ways to go but I will get do my best to get as close to my "goal" weight of 155 as I can. Only 22 more lbs to go.
