*blows dust off the laptop keyboard* It's been an eventful, stressful few months and during that time the blog had to take the back burner in life. My divorce was finalized the beginning of December, I moved out of our house in January and I was hired and let go from a banking job. I also met someone great along the way. The job I had I was hired for 20 hours a week but I never worked that the months I was there. I worked 35-39.5 just about every week which left me no real time to keep the blog running. I can't really complain because I needed the extra hours. I enjoyed being a teller but it didn't feel like the right place for me. It did give me the learning experience of being a teller at a very busy (and short staffed most days) branch but it's also where I met my boyfriend. A friend jokingly called him Mr. OneMain (work related name) or my OneMain squeeze so that's what he will be referred by here on the blog as well. Our story is a different blog post all together but I had to share that work brought us together. For now just know that I am extremely happy for the most part and the boys are adjusting to the divorce and mom and dad both dating other people.
I have been working like a mad woman the past couple weeks trying to get the back side of the blog all up to date and now I am ready to move the blog to the front burner once again and get it cookin'. I want to let y'all know I appreciate all the blog visits and social media shares even though I hadn't been around much because yes the blog was an income for me but without loyal readers like each of you I would be sitting around talking to myself more often. I know I am ready to share some stories, recipes and more with y'all again and I'm really glad to be back and prepare for whatever is next for me.
