I'm not a parent that says I have boys so they will only play with boys toys. I let them explore toys with an open mind. We have had a few ZhuZhu pets join our family when they first came out. The Zhu-niverse has expanded very much since the little critters have hit store shelves. ZhuZhu pets now have ZhuZhu babies. We received the ZhuZhu Babies Dance Recital playset along with 5 ZhuZhu Babies, some outfits and a ZhuZhu pet hamster.
Baby B loves dancing so I figured I would give him the ZhuZhu Babies set to see if he was interested in it. It took me a little bit to get the stage put together but once it was together he was putting on shows for me all afternoon the first day. Each ZhuZhu baby comes with its own accessories. Now he wasn't interested in the dresses, tutu or tiara that the babies had but he did enjoy playing with them on the stage. His favorite music instrument is the piano.
With the ZhuZhu babies dance recital stage the dancing is controlled by the ZhuZhu pet that you turn on at the piano on the side of the stage. As the ZhuZhu pet runs it turns a knob that turns something in the bottom of the stage that reacts with the round ball rollers in the bottoms of the ZhuZhu babies that make the babies move around the stage giving them the look that they are dancing.
For those wondering did she really let her son play with this, yes- yes I did. You can see a snippit of one of his "shows" that I recorded.
