Saturday, May 14, most Postal Offices are participating in the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. How can you help? Search the USPS site for the contact information of your local post office or talk to your mail carrier and see if they are participating in the drive. If so, all you have to do is place nonperishable foods (and no glass containers) in bags and place them next to your mailbox and the mail carrier will pick them up and deliver to your local food bank. If you are like me and have plenty of non perishables stocked up in the kitchen you can easily part with one bag of goods knowing that a family in need will be getting a little help. Using coupons on your next grocery trip can help you feed someone for cheap/free. It doesn't have to cost a lot to help someone who's hungry.
