Disney announced yesterday (months earlier than usual) that dates for 2025 will be available today! There is a new perk being added for 2025 guests who stay on Disney property, too- free Disney water park admission!

When you think of Walt Disney World your mind usually goes directly to the 4 theme parks- Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Not many people first think of Disney World and their water parks. Am I right? There’s Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.

Free Disney water park admission

Typhoon Lagoon is themed around a storm tossed tropical bay that features the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, one of the largest wave pools in North America! Blizzard Beach is themed around a melting ski resort, including Tike’s Peak with Elsa, Anna and Olaf theming and Mt Gushmore. Both waterparks offer a unique experience for guests visiting the Walt Disney World resort.

Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach provide a refreshing escape from the Genie+ rush of the parks. Whether you opt for the wave pool or water slides or the unique charms of Blizzard Beach and its themed water attractions, either would be a great addition to your Disney vacation.

Walt Disney World 2025

As I mentioned above, 2025 dates are opening today and Disney is offering guests who stay at a participating Disney resort hotel in 2025 a free ticket to either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach water park! This perk will only be available on the day that you check in to the hotel. So you can arrive to Disney World, drop your bags to the room and then get free transportation to the water park and relax a little before diving into the theme park days and the rest of your Disney vacation.

By adding the included admission to these water parks Disney aims to enhance the overall vacation experience from the time you step foot on property. This initiative will not only add value to the guests stays but it can also help set the tone for a magical and memorable vacation to Walt Disney World.
