When I first became a Mom nine years ago I was expecting lots of little messes along the way. You know the blow out diapers, the spit ups and all that can come with having a child. My first born wasn't really all that messy. He had his share of messy diapers and there for a little bit he had the projectile spit ups with reflux. He was also the toddler that would play in the sandbox from the outside of the box because he didn't want to get dirty and have sand on him. My youngest boy though is the complete opposite. He is one mess after another and I wouldn't have him any other way.

There have been plenty of moments with my boys that sometimes I felt upset but ended up laughing about it later or just straight up laughing about it right then and there. Like the saying- no use in crying over spilled milk. I can just grab a canister of Clorox wipes to clean it up and use some Clorox products to wash the clothes and clean up the counter or floor or table or whatever surface they have dirtied up. Life should be celebrated and that includes the little messes like getting to eat your first ice cream cone by yourself or learning how to eat spaghetti with a fork and getting birthday cupcakes all to your self.

Parenting can be a dirty job sometimes but I love every moment of it.
