My Mom took me to JCPenney for my back to school clothes shopping and now I take my boys. My youngest likes the western style button up shirts and polo shirts. My oldest boy has his own style. He likes anything camo print. Green, blue, he doesn't care what color the camouflage is he likes them all. I asked him before we got in to the store what he was looking for as far as the types of pants and shirts and he wasn't sure what he wanted. We get in the store and the first thing he spots is these green camouflage pants.
After picking out some Arizona jeans and his camouflage pants we headed over to find him some shirts. He has a bunch of short sleeve t-shirts so we were on the hunt for some long sleeve shirts for the fall and winter. He likes electric guitars, skateboards and shirt with the funny sayings and graphics. The funniest shirt that he picked out was a shirt that has a picture of Mt Rushmore on it and each head statues were dressed up like rock stars (mohawk, sunglasses) and under the picture it says "Original Rockstars". Another funny one he picked out says "Don't make me use my ninja skills" (that he has zero of). The majority of the shirts we ended up getting were the Arizona brand. Arizona has always been a brand that lasts through both boys for hand me downs but of course we still buy new ones for back to school time. After picking out 12 shirts and 4 pairs of pants we were headed over to the shoe department. It usually takes my guy forever to pick out the "perfect shoes". I know he gets it honest because I have more than 50 pairs of shoes and I'm picky about all of them. This time around though he looked at 4 pairs and then decided on one. He was getting a bit disappointed though because once he had found the pair he just had to have we couldn't find that color and style in his size. Luckily we asked a JCP employee and she went to check in the back and came back with the last box they had and just so happened to be the size he needed (which wasn't the original size we were looking for).
He needed a jacket for the cooler fall weather so we went over the the Nike/sport section and he found the Nike jackets he thought had would make him look cool for school. All together we got 12 shirts, 4 pairs of pants, 2 jackets, and 2 pairs of shoes.
I love that we were able to get all the back to school shopping done all at one time in one store. My boys don't care for being out shopping for very long spurts of time so the less stores I have to haul them to the better. JCP has great back to school deals going on right now. Did you use the coupons over the weekend? Did you shop JCPenney for your kids back to school clothes? My guys are rocking JCPenney top to bottom for their #firstdaylook.
